EXCURSION OF GIRONA TO RIOJA
Bodegas Lopez Heredia, a family winery with 140 years of experience dedicated to the production of wine such as the old fashioned.
They are still using their own barrels of wine manufactured by its own Workshop of Cooperage, the only one in Spain which, in the present, builds hand-crafted, all the barrels used in the ageing of its wines.
The vats are oak wood with more diverse backgrounds and both the fermentations as the ageing of its wines are made in these containers by procedures completely natural and totally craftsmen.
